BINGO FURY BIG RAIN

Beaming in from Bristol, Bingo Fury have emerged with their idiosyncratic debut single 'Big Rain'. Previously part of a band called Norman, Fury's eclectic compositions have already attracted the attention of London's Ra-Ra Rok Records (Wu-Lu, Phobophobes), Practise Music and Hoof Management, who've proven themselves to be firmly on the pulse time and time again. Setting the tone for a bright future, 'Big Rain' is a masterfully uncompromising piece of jazz-tinged crooning. Reinforced by bassist Megan Jenkins, drummer Henry Terrett and local avant-jazz legend, cornet player Harry ‘Iceman’ Furniss, Fury's characterful musings are deeply affecting, delivered with an impressive amount of a charisma for a first outing. Arriving alongside a perfectly matched visual accompaniment directed by Max McLachlan, 'Big Rain' is just the beginning for Bingo Fury. -Holly Mullineaux
